A question we get asked a lot when selling jelly at craft shows is “How do you use pepper jelly?” “How do you cook with it?” We decided to put together some recipes in a cookbook that our friends and staff have shared with us.

Michelle’s Go To Pepper Jelly Cheese Ball/Dip

2 blocks cream cheese
2 jalapenos (optional)
8 oz any flavor Hot Pepper Jelly
1/2 – 3/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions for cheese ball:

Combine all ingredients listed above, except for the cheddar cheese. Let it sit in the fridge for an hour. Form into a ball. Spread out a piece of wax paper and spread out the cheddar cheese. Gently roll the formed ball over the cheese. Serve on a platter with your favorite crackers.

Directions for a dip:

Combine all ingredients together, and then place into the fridge for an hour before serving. Serve with your favorite crackers, tortilla chips or veggies
